Behavioural style / DISC Assessments

Behavioural style/DISC assessments are used to learn more about, predict, understand and describe human behaviour. It is an instrument that describes how people are likely to behave when they interact with their surroundings. Our reports provide increased self-insight and facilitate communication.

The assessments are used in situations where people’s similarities and differences are important, e.g., in personal development, group development, leadership development and sales development.

Behavioural style/DISC assessments are based on self-evaluating and are not a personality test.

A wide range of behavioural style reports!
Ensize has developed a number of different behavioural style assessments: DISC MD, DISC Leadership, Hybrid DISC, HOW Index® and PWS — Personal Work Style. You use the same logic and technology when reading the reports. All our behavioural assessments are fully compatible with all DISC tools that use the “original colours by Goethe” to describe the four behavioural styles. Our reports have, over the years, received very positive feedback for their design, texts and descriptive diagrams.

What is the difference between the reports?

You can see in the descriptions below what differentiates the reports. The essential difference is that we use two different variants of questionnaires depending on which report is chosen; ipsative or normative questionnaires. Depending on the purpose and goals of the assessment, there are different benefits to the different questionnaires. But; you use the same logic and technology when reading the reports. In psychological tests, the result and what you can do with it will depend on how you ask the questions.

Ipsative or Normative?

  • Normative object construction: one scale per property, if you choose the degree or extent you have in a property (similar scale), then the individual’s results can be compared with a norm. Normativity enables comparisons between individuals and between different groups of individuals, so-called norm groups.
  • Ipsative object construction: the scales are opposite each other within a query/object, “a profile” therefore does not provide a standard comparison.
